Description
British Percussion Bar-Hammer Revolver by J. Nobbs Isle of Wight .44 caliber, 4 7/8-inch octagon barrel engraved on the top flat " J. Nobbs Isle of Wight", British barrel proofs, double action. Engraved frame, bar-hammer, trigger guard and butt compartment. Finely checkered grips with silver escutcheon.Condition: Excellent. Barrel exhibiting about 90% blue finish, cylinder dark / gray. Frame, bar, trigger guard and butt display strong case colors. Grip checkering is sharp with a few small dents. The double action mechanism needs to be adjusted and the frame and components are slightly loose.
