A Lot of 65 Civil War Covers With Flag Themes A spectacular lot of 65 unused covers with a wide variety of colorful flag images. Of note are four full-front color image covers of American flags with different variations on the stars, numerous covers with variations of the Columbia with flag theme, several flag and Federal shield motifs, and flags and soldiers. Of interest is a New York Volunteer Militia cover, a Ft. Sumter themed cover, and a humorous cover showing the Union game cock and the secession "Shanghae". Most covers measure about 5.5" x 3.25", have slight age toning to paper, 35 have remnants of old glue on the back, else in very good condition with the colors still remaining bright.Auction Info
