[Civil War Era]. State of Vermont, Commemoration Certificate for Service. Montpelier: July 4, 1871.One engraved document, framed and matted to an overall 23.5"x 19.5". Not examined outside of frame. Issued by the State of Vermont to veterans and their families to honor the sacrifices of citizen-soldiers during the course of the war; this copy issued to Luther F. Moore, Lieutenant of Company C, 16th Vermont Infantry.
Condition: Scattered foxing; frame with minor edgewear.
