Description

[Civil War]. Camp Terry Guard Report. One page, 8.5" x 15.25", Camp Terry, near Austin, Texas, October 7, 1862. A Union guard report for Camp Terry which details the changing of the guards and lists every soldier on duty from October 7-8. The document is signed by Lieutenant J. C. Taylor, who was commanding the guard. Only one prisoner is listed, while 115 out of 123 guard names are listed.

Condition: Usual mail folds, light soiling at edges. Ink from Taylor's signature has slight transference.
