Description
Poland: Silver Military Presentation Shield. The shield is beautifully engraved on the front with a Polish Eagle upon which is applied Our Lady of Czestochowa. The back is engraved with a presentation sentiment to Ivanowi Markulji. The presentation was made in the city of Sambor (Sambir) in February, 1939. The shield is 2 5/8" wide x 3" and suspended on a silver chain. The shield is hallmarked.Auction Info
