Description

Prussian EM NCO Garde Du Korps Helmet.
Circa 1860. Large spread-winged eagle wearing crown mounted to top of helmet, measuring: 6 3/4-inches in height and 8-inches in width. Center plaque held on by two rivets. Center of plaque reading: SUUM-CUIQUE / (eagle), outer ring: FUR-KONIG UND-VATER LAND-1860 MIT-GOTT. Flat gilt chin scales. Lobster tail style back. Leather inner liner.

Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing light / normal age and handling wear.
