Description
Maryland National Guard Shako. Felt body with black cloth crown and bottom trim. Leather bill trimmed in metal and the brass chin scales mounted via two Maryland National Guard buttons. Brass front plate with voided number five and the Latin inscription "Decus et Praesidium". Complete with black plume. Trim worn and dirty with sections missing from the leather liner.
