Description

Late 19th Century Militia Hat. This felt and leather hat was likely worn by a member of the 14th Regiment of Infantry, a militia unit from some unspecified state. It has a nice plume of blue feathers at the top, two vent holes, some light soiling and damp stains, but is generally in very nice shape. It is size 6 5/8. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
