Imperial German Grenadier's 1st Guard Regiment of Foot Full Dress Mitre Cap.Impressive and difficult to find in original condition, this example features the large silvered-brass front plate which is ornately decorated with panoplies of arms and other military motifs. Silvered-brass chin scales. Red wool body with white frogging. Original 2 1/2-inch wide leather sweatband and adjustable cloth lining. Red and white tufted wool pompom.
Condition: Very good. Showing only modest wear from light use.
