Soldier Prayer Book and Discharge Papers. 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" 58-page "Soldier's Prayer Book" with embossed stiff paper covers (published 1861, internal tape repairs to partially detached covers), very fine to excellent. Sold together with December 1862 discharge papers for James W. Trimble of Pittsburgh (Company "A" 134th Regiment of Infantry Volunteers, State of Pennsylvania) who served nine months and was discharged for reason of chronic rheumatism (separation at folds, tape repairs on verso).Auction Info
