Description
Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle. Serial no. 276401, .22 Long caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight, Marbles Gladstone rear sight and Lyman style tang sight. Blued finish. Takedown knob on the left sidewall. Straight walnut stock and grooved slide handle. Curved metal buttplate. Manufactured 1906. Condition: Very good. Retaining 85-90% finish, the remainder worn thin and aged to a pleasant brown patina. Some light scattered spotting and surface pitting on the barrel and wear to the high spots. Receiver with several light scratches. Stock with light wear. Mechanically crisp. Bore bright.Auction Info
