Description
U.S. Springfield 1864 Percussion Musket.Unserialized, approximately .60 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Lock marked: 1864, (eagle) and U.S. / SPRINGFIELD. Smooth hardwood stock with three barrel bands. Sling swivels. Metal carbine butt. Metal ramrod.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey patina with heavy wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. Action good. Dark bore.
