Description
Spencer Repeating Lever Action Shotgun.Serial no. 30781, 16 gauge, 28-inch barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and lever. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Sling swivel. Metal butt. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 7054 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina, with scattered age wear, handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy dings and bruising to wood. Action crisp. Pitted bore.
