Description
Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle. Serial no. 71698, .22 short caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock and grooved fore-end. Checkered metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1947.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with scattered wear and pitting. Light handling wear and scratches to wood. Noticeable wood loss at left corner where wood and receiver meet. Pitting to buttplate. Action good. Bright bore.
