Description
Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle.Serial no. 595086 [receiver] and 180908 [lower tang], .225 caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Case-hardened hammer. Inspector mark A stamped to receiver just below serial number. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1917.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Crisp action. Bright bore. From the Collection of James Schubert.
