Description
Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle.Serial no. 8621, .22 short caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and grooved fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1892, first serial number of that year.
Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of original finish in protected areas, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered wear and pitting. Wood showing a few scuffs and dings. Action crisp. Moderately pitted bore.
