Description
Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle. Serial no. 238674, .22 W.R.F. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with standard sights. Blued finish. Straight walnut stock and grooved slide handle with crescent buttplate. Take-down knob on the left side of the receiver. 1905 manufacture date.Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 65-75% finish, the remainder worn at the edges of the barrel and receiver. Additional scratches and wear to the sides of the receiver. Wood very good. Buttstock with traces of shellac, several light gouges and scratches. Action is good. Strong bore.
