Description
Marlin Model 27-S Slide Action Rifle. Unserialized. .25-20 caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with front and rear sight. Blued finish with straight walnut stock and grooved forearm. Manufactured circa 1920.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 50-60% original finish, the balance worn to a smooth gray. Some spotting and worn spots, most notably on the receiver. Forearm appears to be replaced and the original stock is cracked and exhibits an old, crude repair on the upper portion near the butt. Crudely replaced buttplate. Light bore with distinct rifling.
