Description
Colt Lightning Slide Action Rifle.Serial no. 51232, .22 caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Checkered hard rubber buttplate. Manufactured in 1900.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth frey patina with noticeable signs of handling wear, age and pitting. Heavy scuffs and dings present to wood. Large cracks, repairs and wood loss to fore-end. Action frozen. Moderately pitted bore.
