Description
Colt Lightning Slide Action Rifle.Serial no. 77291, .32 caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1895.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina, with normal signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Trivial lettering to left side of stock. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Strong bore.
