Colt Lightning Medium Frame San Francisco Police Slide Action Rifle AKA Colt Lightning Magazine Rifle (CLMR). Serial no. S.F.P. 70 [lower tang], .44 caliber, 26-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer. Smooth figured walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt.Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish with scattered handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Wood showing noticeable scuffs, dings and bruises. Action crisp. Strong bore.
