U.S. Springfield Model 1873 Warner Bros. Prop Trapdoor Carbine.Serial no. 179111, .45-70 caliber, 22-inch barrel marked: WB81337 and V / P / (eagle head) / P proofs. (eagle) and U.S. / SPRINGFIELD to lock. Saddle ring. Smooth walnut straight stock with barrel band stamped U. Base of stock carved: FLP P4. U.S. metal carbine butt.
Condition: Good as configured. Overall showing scattered handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. Screw absent to butt.
