Description
U.S. Robbins & Lawrence 1849 Mississippi Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, .54 caliber, 32-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sight. Lock marked: WINDSOR VT. / 1849 and ROBBINS / & / LAWRENCE / U.S. Smooth walnut straight stock with brass furniture. Two faint cartouches to left side of stock. Hinged patchbox. Metal ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and bruises present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
