Description
U. S. Springfield Model 1884/88 Trapdoor Rifle. Serial No. 560191, .45-70 caliber, 32 ½-inch barrel with Buffington rear sight. Two barrel bands, two sling swivels, stacking swivel and ramrod-bayonet. Full straight walnut stock. Stock with 1893 inspector's cartouche and stenciled regimental ownership marks on the left side of the butt "H/6/52". Leather military-style sling.Condition: Good. Finish worn to gray/brown with scattered spotting. Stock with moderate wear. Bright bore.
