    Stevens Arms Company Favorite Single Shot Rifle. Serial no. V195, .22 caliber, 24-inch part octagonal barrel with no front sight and no rear sight. Blued barrel with a case-colored frame. Straight walnut stock and fore-end. Hard rubber buttplate with Stevens Favorite script. Tapped for tang sight.
    Condition: Very good. Retaining 35-45% blue on barrel, the remainder worn smooth and gray. Small amount of case color remains on cocking lever, the receiver with scattered small dark spots. Stock with small scratches and bruises. Strong bore and crisp action.
