Starr Breechloading Carbine. Serial no. 14241, .54 caliber, 21-inch barrel with New York address on barrel and patent dates behind hammer. Brass barrel band and buttplate. Case-hardened frame and lock. Walnut stock. Condition: Barrel with a smooth mottled gray-brown patina. Frame with muted case colors and patches of fine pitting. Brass with mellow patina. Stock fine with scattered dents. Bright bore with minor patches of fine pitting.Auction Info
