Description
Sharps New Model 1865 Percussion Carbine. Serial No. C26587, .52 caliber, 22-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued barrel, casehardened receiver, lock, lever and trigger plate. Sling ring and sling ring bar. Single iron barrel band. Walnut stock and fore-arm. Curved metal buttplate. Condition: Good. Retaining significant traces of the blue on the barrel with scattered pitting and surface rust. Casehardened parts with a mottled grey/brown patina, pitting and surface rust. Stock with large repair on the underside. Stock well-worn with abrasions, scratches and bruises. Mechanically sound. Dirty, dark bore.NRA FIREARMS FOR FREEDOM PROGRAM
