Description
Remington Rolling Block Military Rifle. No visible serial number, 7mm caliber, 30-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued finish. Straight walnut stock with metal buttplate. Two barrel bands, two sling swivels, bayonet lug and cleaning rod. Remington company and patent information in three lines on the upper tang. Other than the caliber mark on the barrel there are no other visible markings or cartouches. Modern leather non-military sling.Condition: Very good. Metal has aged to a uniform grey patina with some spotting on the receiver's sidewalls. Stock with light scratches. Mechanically crisp. Bright bore.
