Description
Remington Rolling Block Conversion of Civil War Rifled Musket. No visible serial number, .58 caliber, 39-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and leaf rear sight. Three barrel bands and two sling swivels. Two-piece stock with U.S. marked buttplate.Condition: Poor. Metal with deep pitting and surface rust. Lacking middle band spring. Stock well worn with some pieces lacking along the edge. Contemporary initials carved into the right side of the butt. Mechanically sound. A rare conversion in display condition only.
