Description
Lot of Two Tip-Up Single Shot Rifles. Comprising: 1.) Frank Wesson Two Trigger Single Shot Rifle. Serial no. 7592, .32 caliber, 23-inch octagonal barrel with fixed sights. Blued finish. Nickel-plated receiver. Walnut stock. Crescent buttplate. 2.) J. Stevens Tip-Up Single Shot Rifle. Serial no. 25833, .32 caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Nickel-plated receiver. Smooth walnut stock and checkered fore-end. Crescent buttplate.Condition: 1.) Very good. Finish primarily a dark brownish grey patina with wear and fine to moderate patches of pitting. Stock showing scattered scuffs, dings and minor wood loss at some of the edges. Action good. 2.) Very good. Retaining approximately 40-50% finish with scattered wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable flaking and pitting to receiver. Wood showing light scuffs, scratches and dings. Action good.
