Description
Engraved Miller & Val. Percussion Sporting Rifle.Unserialized, .17 caliber, 25-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear peep sight. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked: MILLER & VAL GREILS MUNCHEN. Elaborately scroll and floral engraved upper tang, lock and triggerguard. Finely checkered walnut straight stock, cheekrest to left side. Floral carved fore-end. Metal Schutzen buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Scattered dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore. Tom Mixon Collection
