Engraved German Zimmerstutzen Target Rifle.

Unserialized, 4mm caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: S. DIRFRR IN MUNRHRN. Scroll and floral engraved locks, hammer and upper tang. Rear peep sight. Checkered walnut stock with cheekrest and Schutzen buttplate. Sling swivel. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 4111 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of original finish. The balance a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Strong bore.
