English Tower Single-Shot Percussion Martial Musket. NSNV, .62 caliber, 39-inch octagonal barrel with faceted breech. Pedestal front sight and military ladder-type rear sight. English proofs. Three steel barrel bands. Lock with crown and legend: 1862/Tower. Standard walnut stock with brass furniture and sling mounts. Condition: Good to very good. Metal with grey patina and scattered light pitting, particularly at breech near nipple. Wood very good with light wear and marks. Action crisp.Auction Info
