Description
Colt Model 1855 Full-Stock Revolving Rifle.Serial no. 5466 [triggerguard], .56 caliber, 25 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Top of receiver marked: COL. COLT HARTFORD CT USA. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Sling swivels. Brass triggerguard. Metal carbine buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Metal ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Crisp action. Lightly pitted bore.
