Description
C. Sharps Model 1853 Single Shot Carbine.Serial no. 11095, .41 caliber, 25 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Saddle ring. Metal hinged patchbox and buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable signs of age, handling wear and surface rust. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore.
