Description
Browning Model B-78 Falling Block Sporting Rifle.Serial no. 5927W37, 6mm, 26-inch octagonal barrel. Barrel marked BROWNING 78 / CAL 6MM REM / ONLY. Blued finish with checkered walnut stocks. Lever activated falling block. According to gun records, 1911 manufactured in this configuration of octagonal barrel and 6mm Rem caliber. Made in Japan. Outfitted with Browning scope mounts. Browning buttpad. Sling swivels.
Condition: Fine to excellent, showing little use or handling wear. Retains virtually all original finish to barrel and frame and light wear, and one moderate ding to wood near sling swivel. Great crisp action, excellent bore.
