Description
Belgian May Lillie 1893 World Champ Single Shot Rifle.Unserialized, .22 caliber, 22 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked: MAY LILLIE 1893. E / LG Belgium proof mark to left side of barrel and FH 5-3 to the right. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock with MAY LILLIE stamped on the right side. Left side of stock features a silver plaque reading: MAY / LILLIE / WORLD / CHAMP / RIFLE / SHOT / 1893. Metal buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable signs of handling wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs, scratches and dings present to wood. Lightly pitted bore. Action good.
