Description
Argentine Remington 1879 Rolling Block Single Shot Rifle.Unserialized, .44 caliber, 36-inch barrel with fixed front sight, bayonet lug and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth hardwood stock and forearm. Three barrel bands, two sling swivels and leather shoulder sling. R stamped to top of stock. Metal ramrod and carbine buttplate.
Condition: Very good as refinished. Noticeable signs of age, handling wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore.
