Description
U.S. Underwood M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine.Serial no. 2453909, .30 caliber, 18-inch barrel with standard military sights. Top of barrel marked: UNDERWOOD / 10-43 / (flaming bomb). Bayonet lug. Flat bolt. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock with sling swivel, oval cut oiler and vinyl shoulder sling. Checkered metal buttplate. Manufactured in October, 1943.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with some thinning to relief edges, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scattered dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. Magazine absent. Tom Mixon Collection
