U.S. Postal Meter M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine.Serial no. 4238747, .30 caliber, 8-inch barrel with Standard military sights. Parkerized finish. Top of barrel marked: W / P. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock with sling swivel and oval cut oiler. Checkered metal buttplate.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 90-94% finish with some thinning to relief edges, handline wear and fine spots of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Bore bright. Magazine absent. Tom Mixon Collection
