U.S. Johnson Automatics Model of 1941 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Telescopic Sight.
Serial no. B6830 [receiver] and B8210 [bolt], .30-06 Springfield caliber, 23 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Short recoil, rotating bolt, semi-automatic action. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Sling swivels and leather shoulder sling. Ventilated rubber recoil pad. Weaver telescopic sight in Redfield mounts. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 3815 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish, with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Assorted scuffs, scratches and dings present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. Clear optics.
