Description
Belgian FN 49 Semi-Automatic Rifle.Serial no. 4300 [receiver, bolt and stock], 7.62mm caliber, 23 1/4-inch barrel with standard military sights. Black matte finish. Left side of receiver marked: FABRIQUE NATIONAL D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock with sling swivels. Metal buttplate with cleaning tool reservoir.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 95-97% finish with some thinning to relief edges, light handling wear and very fine spots of pitting. Few scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Strong bore. Crisp action.
