Remington Model 1889 Double Barrel Hammer Gun. Serial no. 228165, 12 ga., 30-inch damascus barrels. Brass bead front sight. Textured rib marked: REMINGTON ARMS CO/ILION, N.Y. U.S.A. Case-hardened frame and action. Both locks with: REMINGTON ARMS CO. Checkered walnut half pistol grip stock. Condition: Very good to fine. Barrels retaining approximately 80-90% finish with just scattered fine patches of surface tarnish. Wood very good with scattered dents, small losses near toe. Slightly warped buttplate. Bores bright with light pittng. Action crisp.Auction Info
