Description
Martini-Henry Modified to Carbine Configuration. Serial no. 9303, .577/450 Martini-Henry,21 ¾" round barrel with fixed front and adjustable rear sights. Blued finish. Left side of receiver marked "MARTINI'S PATENT"; right side of barrel marked "HENRY'S PATENT". Hardwood stock and fore-end. Barrel and receiver numbers not matching. Saddle ring and bar mounted to left side of receiver. Stock cut down to carbine length. Retains an overall smooth gray finish with scattered nicks and scratches, most notably on the sides of the receiver. Stock with the usual abrasions and bruises. Relatively bright bore and distinct rifling. Mechanically sound. Good condition, as configured.Auction Info
