Description

Colt Model 1855 Revolving Shotgun.
Serial no. 2690, 20 gauge, 24-inch octagonal and round barrel with fixed front sight. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Sling swivels. Metal ramrod and crescent buttplate.
Provenance: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Sold to benefit the Museum's collections and acquisitions.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina, with noticeable signs of wear and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruises to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
