Description
Colt Model 1855 Revolving Rifle.Serial no. 5306 [receiver and triggerguard], .56 caliber, 37 1/2-inch barrel with standard fixed sights. Fluted cylinder. Top of receiver marked: COL. COLT HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Walnut straight stock and fore-end. Two sling swivels and two barrel bands. Metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered pitting and wear. Various noticeable scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp
