Cased 12 Gauge x 7x65R Krieghoff Neptune Drilling with Telescopic Sight and .22 Magnum Adapter. Serial no. 72203. 12 gauge x 12 gauge x 7x65R. 25-inch monoblock Bohler Anitint steel barrels with matted flat rib with integral telescopic sight mounts, automatic single folding leaf rear sight and large brass fore-sight. Two-inch wedges of oak leaf engraving at the breech. French gray reinforced sidelock action fully engraved with oak leaves and game scenes: Left side: Wild boar running through a mountain meadow, right side: German short hair pointer in a woodland scene with pheasants, and underside with pair of woodcocks. Extractors. Adjustable front set-trigger. Krieghoff combination safety and cocking lever. Cocking indicators. Rifle barrel selector on top of upper tang. Greener cross bolt. Horn triggerguard. Finely skip-line checkered pistolgrip stock of well-figured walnut. Horn grip cap and grooved buttplate. Sling swivels. Finely skip line checkered splinter fore-end with Deeley-Edge style release. Removable Zeiss Diatal-D 6-24 telescopic sight fitted to the gun. .22 Magnum adapter with 8 5/8 inch barrel in green plastic cover with hex wrench. Heavy custom dark brown elephant hide trunk case with partitions fitted to the gun with green baize interior. Nickel plated hardware including corner protectors. Accessories include sling, cleaning rod, cleaning implements and turnscrew. Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bores: 0.720/0.718 inches. Chokes: 0.010/0.027 inches (Improved Cylinder/Improved Modified). Chambers: 2 3/4 inches. Proof: German Nitro, 12/70, 7X65R, 672. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 5/8 inches. Drop at comb: 1 3/8 inches. Drop at heel: 2 inches. Cast: None. Weight: 7 pounds, 10 ounces. Condition: Excellent, showing little use, possibly unfired. No cartridge rings on breech. Barrels show 98-99% bluing. Excellent bright bores. Stock shows a likely factory splice at 2 1/4 inches from the butt. Stock shows a few very light marks. Fore-end shows two impressions and a 1/4 inch scrape.
