W. & C. Scott Half Stock Percussion Rifle. NVSN, .69 caliber, 31-inch barrel with front bead sight. Top of barrel marked: W. & C. SCOTT. Scroll and game scene engraved lock. Scroll-engraved triggerguard, hammer and tang. Varnished checkered walnut half stock with blank thumb escutcheon. Ramrod. Steel buttplate. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey age patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Stock showing scuffs, dings and bruises. Action good. Strong bore.
