Description
U.S. Springfield 1864 Percussion Musket.Serial no. 2133, .58 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Lock marked: 1864, (eagle) and U.S. / SPRINGFIELD. Smooth walnut straight stock with sling swivels and leather shoulder sling. Metal ramrod, triggerguard and buttplate.
Condition: Very good as refinished. Overall showing scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Few minor scuffs present to wood. Action crisp. Mirror bright bore.
