Description
U.S. M.T. Wickham 1836 Flintlock Musket.Unserialized, approximately .70 caliber, 42-inch barrel with fixed front sight and stamped: US / JM / P. Upper tang dated: 1834. Lock marked: FEILD / 1836 and U.S. / M.T. WICKHAM. Smooth walnut straight stock with three barrel bands and two sling swivels. Metal ramrod and buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a bright patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
